I just opened a P.O. Box?

I opened a P.O. Box today because I am going to be traveling allot this year but after I left the post office I realized I wasn't sure about something. I placed an order a couple of weeks ago that I haven't received yet (will probably get it next week) but since I opened a P.O. Box, will I still get this shipment (they have my home address to ship it to) at my home or at my P.O. Box or will it be returned to sender? I'm not 100% sure of the logistics of P.O. Boxes yet.
