What do yoiu think of people who, from the very beginning of friendship, demand that you?

change yourself to suit their interests so that they like you more? Would this mean that they are selfish people who want to fit people into a mold that they want for their own egotistical gratification and contentment? That you have to "be worthy" of being accepted and loved? Is this not an egotistical act on the part of others who claim to be your friend?
